Doctors & StaffDr. Hall graduated from Rutgers the State University of New Jersey in 1973. He received his doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1977. Moving from New Jersey, Dr. Hall established the Lake Murray-San Carlos Optometric Center in January 1979. Dr. Hall has been active in clinical research in contact lenses and lens products doing FDA studies for Bausch & Lomb, Ciba, Boston, Alcon, Allergan, and many other leading ophthalmic companies. He specializes in difficult to fit contact lens patients, comprehensive eye examinations and co manages Lasik and Cataract surgeries. In 1981, he was a founding member of the La Mesa Sunrise Rotary Club and is still very active. He also has obtained a Third Degree Black Belt. Dr. Hall is the proud father of 3 sons and 2 grandsons and enjoys traveling the world with his family.

Dr. Boermans joined the practice in 2009. She completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Waterloo and her graduate degree from Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Boermans is board certified to prescribe therapeutics and treat and manage glaucoma. Her interests lie in ocular disease and contact lenses. Dr. Boermans enjoys seeing patients of all ages and concentrates on giving her patients clear and comfortable vision at all distances and a comprehensive ocular health evaluation. Dr. Boermans is a member of the San Diego Optometric Society, California Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. On the weekends she enjoys being active outdoors rollerblading or snowboarding depending on the season.
